How I have enjoyed this evening. Lynn and Jeannette brought Brad & Robbin & came to have dinner with us. I cooked two of our chickens with dressing, and had such a nice dinner. I mention the dinner because I shall always remember how they enjoyed it, & Lynn said, "Suzie you've done it again!You have always been one of my favorite cooks!" I like to fix for those who enjoy it. There is still a lot of love between us & he said he always felt like we were family.

Well the Relief Society art class has been a great success as far as I am concerned. I love each and every one who has taken it. We have only two left.

Soon after the 19th of this month I will be teaching an adult art class at Hill Crest High School!

Ida Burrows (the Relief Society Pres.) Came to my house this morning. She said she just had to come & see me. She put her arms around me & hugged me. She said she had loved me ever since she met me. She said one of the things she loved most about me, was that I talked good sense. She also said to count her as one of the students in the new art class. Linda Halldamon called and said to be sure to put her in as anotherthis name) one. Della Lee also wants to be in too. Linda was the one who got a job & couldn't come to the "R.S. art class", but she came to see me, & brought a gift and a lovely card to me. I felt so happy about it.

Clell & Ann are recovering nicely after their foot surgery. Clell has gone back to work, but he says the cold or something makes his foot hurt. It's been about 6 or 8 weeks since Clell's operation & Ann had hers about 2 weeks before. Cal's youngest boy David, had his farewell Aug 26. He is going into the Central American Mission. He told his mother to call & invite all of Cal's folks to come. We all were there, who live here. Clell Ann. Lynn & Jeannette, Janet & 2 boys and Les and I. David & Noal were so glad we came over to the house. Noal made it to each of us to ask us to come, & I believe this is one reason we did go.

I hope what I write doesn't sound like a lot of hodge, podge, it is the interests in my life

Leslie is going to Dr. Paul Keller tomorrow for a physical. Sure hope he will be all ok. Claire hasn't been feeling too well lately, Of course her 5 children are somewhat hectic. Brought Suzy and Kirk home for a few days to lighten her burden a little. The kids are back in school now & that will help. We stopped by for a few minutes this morning, Shannon is having trouble with teeth again. She crawls across the floor and gave her little hands to me. I picked her up and she gave me several baby kisses. She then wanted down, and as soon as I let go, she was on her way to Grandpa. Kirk came over for his "lovins" to, and asked if I'd come again and stay a while, and then bring him home with me. Love these little ones so much. Lynn's little Brad told me tonight that I'd better come and see them too.

"Baby" (our little black poodle) was at her best in her tricks tonight. She just loves to do them for company. Lynn's family really enjoyed her. We think she's so cute and smart.
