The kitchen looks so beautiful. We haven't got it finished yet, but the counter top, the grill, and the dishwasher are all in and working. It's so nice. Deasr Les has done most of the work. He has put the soffet above the cupboards and they look so lovely we still must put in a new ceiling and carpet.

Clell and Anne were here for dinner tonight_ We had one of those roasters baked with dressing. Sure was good. How much I do enjoy them, Clell and Anne.

We ar almost always grieving over the passing of some of our loved ones. This time it ws Dear old Uncle Orrel (Zabriskie). He died here in the Veterans Hospital 24 Sept 1972.It fell on a Sunday Uncle Orrel had suffered several hemerages in the last four or five years. He was here in the same hospital, when Elvin died. He was brought here in the ambulance Sept. 23. He died approx. 4:30 am of a heart attack. His sond Mayo and Lloyd are in Alaska, for a months vacation. They were not contacted in time for their father's funeral. At this writing they still do not know_to my knowledge. His funeral was held Friday at 1pm Sept 29

Woed is passing around that Aunt Alice, Uncle John Zabriskie's wife is ill. Possibly Cancer.

Earnest Kerner RAiser died last Sunday. Oct 1, 1972.

I think of Aunt Lillie Cuyler, and wonder just how much longer for her? Uncle Verl does not look too well either. I hope he will soon improve in help.

I held my first inservice preparation meeting at our house last night 3rd of Oct. ( It had been postponed because of Uncle Orrel's death) It was a fine meeting I felt. I liked the lesson I had to give, but most of all I loved the fine people of the Primary association I work with. I feel sure that the spirit of the Lord was present, for everything went well.

Leslie goes back to work tomorrow after a weeks vacation. We attended Uncle's funeral, and then drove down to Panguitch. We spent the night with Mabel and Ray Neilsen, in their motel. They insisted that we be their guests. Mable planned to give me a jar of bullberry jam, but I left. I did not return by way of Panquitch. I feel so sorry about it. I do plan to do an oil painting for them right away.
