Mother's Day! Claire & Larry came down & brought their lovely little family. They waited until after their Sacrament Meeting, as Claire sang on their program, in a trio. They sang "That Wonderful Mother Of Mine". and it brought so many emotions that I did not attend. Claire sang it with Larry's help on a tape they gave me for Mother's Day, The tap is of all their little family except Shannon, & "her's" too little. They also gave me some picture of the three oldest with the promise of one of the other two children later on. We had a nice supper, & had fixed it for whoever came. I did not hear from Norman & Marie nor Ariel & Ilene. However Ariel called me Monday.

Ariel & Lee's little boy Dean was entered into the hospital Sunday 13 Mother's Day, and had surgery on his feet Monday. Saturday the 12 of May he was baptized by his uncle Clifford Fawcett, and confirmed by his Grandpa Clawson. They also blessed him at the hospital. The operation was a very painful one, and they did both feet. At this writing he is home again, with both feet in a cast, and he'll have it on for three months, so the doctor said. That means all summer.

We are waiting for Hellen Jones to get here, then we are going to Provo to see Sarah. Vernal Jackson her son in law is in the Provo hospital. He got mixed up with a tracter, and came out with two broken legs-
Correction: Only one broken leg, but was scraped up pretty bad. (is doing fine.)
