Today is Sunday. Leslie is working the graveyard shift, so consequently is sleeping.



About 10 0'clock am the second counselor of the bishopric Richard Jensen called me on the phone. He asked me to meet with him at noon. I was there, and he asked me to work in this part of the Lord's vineyard (Union 4th ward) as inservice teacher for the Primary association. I knew before I saw him that I was being called for something, so I made it a matter of prayer that I would have good enough health and could do what I was being called to do. It being the first Sunday of the month I attended fast meeting at 1 pm. I was therewith sustained, and they said I would be set apart at another future date. He also said the bishopric had prayed to the Lord about the best place to have me serve, and they were always impressed with what they choose - Inservice teacher.



The last two fast meetings _ I've had the strongest urge to bear my testimony - I just had to get to my feet, and I did. I'm so glad I did. I know the Lord wished me to do so.
